The Jaguar XK 150 was the first sports car from the Jaguar brand, produced during 1950s. The XK 150 model was the most developed version in the sports car lineup. This model was a replacement to the XK 140 cat produced by the same company.

The Jaguar XK 150 model was a redesigned version of XK 120. It was heavier and its styling was stodgier. It was the first model to feature with the four wheel disc brakes.

Engine

The recent XK 150 model was more civilized, plusher and roomier than its previous XK models. The base versions of Jaguar XK 150 for sale was equipped with the old engine models, where as the new models were powered by the same 3.4 liter engine that produces power up to 250 hp at an angular speed of 5750 rpm and torque of 210 lb ft.

The Jaguar XK 150 model was offered as a convertible and coupe. The roadster model was released after nine months, since the introduction of coupe and convertibles. The initial models were much slower than its predecessor models and later this was corrected by developing much powerful engine, 3.4 liter that can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 7 seconds.
